𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Diontae Johnson’s Five-Word Response To Ravens During Trade Call Video!

The AFC’s streak of wide receiver trades kept rolling on Tuesday as the Baltimore Ravens picked up Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers.

Baltimore’s move is the latest in a series of AFC trades for star receivers. In recent weeks, the New York Jets added Davante Adams, the Buffalo Bills brought in Amari Cooper, and the Kansas City Chiefs landed DeAndre Hopkins.

Along with Johnson, the Panthers and Ravens agreed to a 2025 pick swap, with Carolina receiving a fifth-round pick and Baltimore getting a sixth-rounder.

Johnson was in his apartment when he got the news, and a video shared by his brand, “Slow Motion Better Than No Motion,” showed the moment he appeared to speak with the Ravens for the first time.

 

He was on the phone pacing around the apartment when he got the call.

“Yessir, nah imma show you,” Johnson responded.

Johnson was in his first season with the Panthers after being traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers this past offseason. Now, he’s heading back to the AFC North, where he spent the first five years of his NFL career.

So far in the 2024 season, the former third-round pick out of Toledo has accumulated 30 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns in just seven games.

The Ravens will face the Denver Broncos on Sunday in what could be Johnson’s first game in the purple and black. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
