The Ravens are already hard at work scouting for next year
The Baltimore Ravens have officially closed the book on a very strong 2024 NFL Draft class that includes a future CB1 in Clemson’s Nate Wiggins, and a starting right tackle in Washington’s Roger Rosengarten. Eric DeCosta likely isn’t resting on his laurels, as Baltimore is likely already well into their preparations for next season.
The Ravens still have holes that need to be addressed on the defensive line, and you can never have enough wide receivers in the modern NFL. Those who forecast the draft a year out are already hard at work trying to identify perfect Ravens prospects.
CBS Sports has the Ravens using their pick in the 2025 NFL Draft on Arizona star Tetairoa McMillan, recharged as the best possession receiver in the class at this point. Other mock drafts had the Ravens looking to the SEC, drafting a standout wideout and a star pass rusher who could be a Day 1 starter.
Pro Football Focus has the Ravens taking another wide receiver in Ole Miss star Tre Harris, who transferred from Louisiana Tech last season. Jordan Reid of ESPN went in a different direction, implying Baltimore will draft a defensive player like Arkansas pass rusher Landon Jackson.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Ravens linked to Tetairoa McMillan, Tre Harris
McMillan will be a godsend of a pick at No. 30 overall, as the 6-5 receiver makes up for a lack of amazing top-end speed with some of the best hands and contested catch skills the draft has seen in years. Even against premier competition, McMillan kept having his way with those who tried to slow him down.
Harris finished his first season at Ole Miss with 985 yards and eight touchdowns. With the loss of Ravens UDFA signee Dayton Wade, Harris might be in for a bit of a production bump as Lane Kiffin and Jaxson Dart try to take advantage of his sublime downfield playmaking.
Jackson is a 6-7, 280-pound end who had a fairly average career with the Razorbacks before dominating Alabama to the tune of a 3.5 sack performance. If Odafe Oweh fails to develop, the Ravens could try to land another starting edge with the potential to be a solid two-way run-stuffer.
The Ravens have a deep roster, but they’re not a perfect team. More reinforcements will be coming, and it looks like any one of these three players could be immediate impact players if they came to Baltimore to begin their professional careers.
