The Miami Dolphins’ 2024 offseason activities have concluded, and now we head into the true dead period of the year before training camp ramps up in six weeks or so.

As such, we’ve gotten a chance to get a glance at what likely the full roster for 2024 will look like – save any additions the team makes between now and the start of the season.

Miami will be looking to take a step forward in 2024 after coming so close to winning their first division title since 2008 and staying at home for the playoffs until the AFC title game. Who could help them get over the hump this year? Here are four names who could be key to getting there.

1) Chop Robinson

Yes, it seems kind of wild to put this much on a rookie. However, that’s the expectation nowadays with first round picks. And the Dolphins need an immediate impact from him to hold down the fort while Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips work their way back from their respective season-ending injuries last fall. A slow start, and it could be tough sledding for the Dolphins’ pass rush early.

2) Kendall Fuller

It sounds like Jalen Ramsey will return to his ways of shadowing opposing top wideouts and not limited to just half the field. How good his counterpart will be is important, and Fuller was paid solid starter money this offseason by the Dolphins. If Ramsey is in lockdown mode, Fuller could get more attention and will need to show he’s worth his salary.

3) Jordyn Brooks

As the replacement for Jerome Baker (who called plays for the defense) – and Miami’s highest paid offseason acquisition – there will be a lot of pressure for Brooks to perform. Brooks hasn’t fared as well in coverage as one would like, but he’s a sideline-to-sideline tackler who can knock heads. If he can show a better coverage ability in South Florida, he has a chance to make a major impact in the middle of Anthony Weaver’s defense.

4) Zach Sieler

The only returning starter of the group here, Sieler has some huge shoes to fill with Christian Wilkins now in Las Vegas. He already is a strong player who the Dolphins like as evidenced by them extending him in training camp last year. However, he’s going to have to take his game to another level to help create some pressure, as Miami doesn’t have a clear answer next to him at DT and the Dolphins likely will start the season with Shaq Barrett and Chop Robinson off the edge.
