This week, EA released their speed ratings, highlighting the Dolphins’ prominent status with some of the fastest players in key positions such as wide receiver, running back, and offensive tackle.
Across the league, the Dolphins stand out with five players achieving speed ratings of 95 or above, more than any other team. Close behind are the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers, each with three players reaching similar speeds. Overall, eight NFL teams have at least two players with ratings of 95 or above in speed.
Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Dolphins, has entered the elite “99 Club” with an overall rating and speed rating of 99, making him the fastest player in the league as per EA Sports. Fellow Dolphin Jaylen Waddle ranks fourth among active receivers with a speed rating of 97. Other notable mentions include rookie Anthony Schwartz and established star Odell Beckham Jr., with speed ratings of 96 and 91, respectively.
Among running backs, the Dolphins’ De’Von Achane leads with a speed rating of 96, while Raheem Mostert shares second place with Isaac Guerendo of the San Francisco 49ers, both rated at 95. Terron Armstead is noted as the fastest among left tackles with a speed rating of 77.
Other Dolphins also feature prominently in their positions for speed: Fullback Alec Ingold and tight end Jonnu Smith are among the fastest in their roles, while center Aaron Brewer is tied for second in his position. Defensively, Quinton Bell and rookie Chop Robinson rank highly among linebackers, and both Dolphins’ kicker Jason Sanders and punter Jake Bailey are noted for their speed among specialists.
These ratings underscore the Miami Dolphins’ reputation as one of the fastest teams in the NFL, both on offense and defense.
