In his first two games with the Baltimore Ravens, Derrick Henry ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries. The Ravens lost those games to the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders.

For Game No. 3, Baltimore leaned on the free-agent running back, and he responded like the Pro Bowler from his Tennessee Titans days in a 28-25 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Henry ran for 151 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries and caught a 23-yard pass.

“He showed off,” Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson said. “He did what kings do.”

Henry scored on a 1-yard run as Baltimore took a 14-3 lead with 2:41 left in the first half and a 26-yard run as the Ravens went up 28-6 with 11:58 remaining in the third quarter.

“I definitely wanted to come out here and be able to have an impact to give us a chance to win by the way I played,” Henry said. “I feel like the first two weeks kind of got going a little slow.”

Henry recorded the 12th game of his career with at least 150 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, which is tied with LaDainian Tomlinson for the second-most in NFL history. The only player with more such games is Jim Brown, who 13.

Henry was among the 43 former Alabama players who got on the field on the third Sunday of the NFL’s 105th season.Five other former Alabama players were involved in the Baltimore-Dallas game:

· Ravens cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis (St. Paul’s Episcopal) did not record any stats.

· Ravens guard Darrian Dalcourt is on the practice squad and not eligible to play.

· Trevon Diggs started at cornerback for the Cowboys. Diggs made six tackles.

· Marlon Humphrey (Hoover) started at cornerback for the Ravens. Humphrey made one tackle, registered one quarterback hit and broke up two pass.

· Ravens safety Eddie Jackson made two tackles.
