Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James has made 16 NBA appearances since being selected 55th overall in the 2024 NBA draft. The former USC guard has totaled 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in 64 minutes of NBA action.
The son of LeBron James, Bronny James has made three NBA appearances alongside his father. Per the NBA’s official lineup data, the father-son duo has logged 10 total minutes together, with the Lakers being outscored by 14 points in that time.
While his NBA action and success has been limited, James has been playing better in the G League for the South Bay Lakers.
Averaging 17.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.1 rebounds in 12 G League appearances, James has converted on 39.7% of his field goal attempts and 31.1% of his 3-point attempts.
On Friday, James tallied 28 points and six rebounds in a win over the Valley Suns.
Following this strong performance, the Lakers made an unfortunate announcement. Per the team’s latest injury report, James is doubtful to play in Monday night’s game against the Utah Jazz due to a left forearm muscle strain.
James missed multiple weeks earlier this season with a left heel contusion, and is now dealing with a new injury.
James last appeared in an NBA game on Feb. 4 against the Los Angeles Clippers. Making his first career NBA 3-point basket, James finished with three points and one assist in six minutes.
Following that NBA appearance up with a strong G League showing, James was building some momentum, but is now dealing with another injury.
