Travis Kelce went all out to ensure Taylor Swift had an unforgettable 35th birthday on Friday night.
Although she has celebrated getting older in the past with blowout parties in Nashville and New York City with her crew of celebrity friends, the pop star opted to spend the evening with just her boyfriend this year.
‘He got her a ton of gifts,’ an insider told Page Six about their quiet celebration, which was ‘just them two.’
The pair are also rumored to have enjoyed a heart-shaped birthday cake from Cami’s Cake Co, a bakery in Leawood, Kansas.
Kelce, also 35, made sure to prioritize his plans with Swift, despite also having to attend a NFL charity event earlier in the day.
Although the event was ‘mandatory’ for players, he was able to ‘leave early to go be with Taylor for her birthday.’
Earlier this month, sources told the outlet that the professional athlete was planning an ‘extra special’ celebration for Swift.
‘Although he’ll be playing on Christmas and has an away game the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis is going to make sure to take time out to celebrate both occasions with her,’ a source told Page Six.
The tight end has been ‘shopping for Christmas and birthday gifts for Taylor for quite a while now.’
According to the source, Kelce is ‘not the type to leave these things to the last minute’ and has been ‘picking up items here and there for the past several months whenever he has a chance.’
The three-time Super Bowl winner has reportedly been paying close attention to Swift’s wish list, keeping track of items she’s casually mentioned.
‘Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned she would like,’ the source continued. ‘Travis makes sure to always listen even when Taylor doesn’t realize he is.’
The 35-year-old has previously lavished Swift with expensive gifts, reportedly spending around $22,000 on Valentine’s Day gifts for the Cruel Summer songstress alone.
This are said to have included a slew of designer clothes and accessories, a $3,050 24-karat gold rose sculpture from the luxury furniture company Perigold, and two boxes of 250 roses ‘eternity’ roses, which are said to last up to a year and cost $2,199 each.
And it didn’t end there. It was also reported that he gifted her a $1,050 black lambskin Dior beret, a $1,100 Celine hat, a $5,100 Bottega Veneta purse, and a $1,300 Hermès Chevaux Dechaines shawl.
Last but not least, the athlete got himself and Taylor, whose net worth is estimated to be $1.1 billion, custom matching bracelets with the letters TNT – standing for Taylor ‘n’ Travis – written in diamond-encrusted gold beads.
Meanwhile, in October, Swift is rumored to have shelled out $360,000 on Travis Kelce’s 35th birthday presents, which included hiring the Formula One track at Monza in Italy for him to spend the day racing.
