Donna Kelce has started collection treasured photographs and other items of her son Travis and fiancee Taylor Swift since they’ve gotten engaged.
The power couple announced their news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday but according to Kelce’s father Ed, the proposal took place around two weeks earlier.
Since that day, mom Donna has started to gather a collection of memories about her youngest son’s romance with the singer.
A source told People: ‘Donna is already saving little things from this time like photos, notes and flowers.
‘She is very sentimental about it. She wants to remember every detail, so she has been holding onto mementos from their first days as an engaged couple.
‘Both families are overjoyed. There were toasts, happy tears and everyone is thrilled for them.’

Donna has yet to speak publicly about the news but did change her Facebook ‘background’ picture to a viral meme shwoing pictures of Kelce and Swift as kids, captioned: ‘THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED’.
Kelce’s father Ed – who Donna split from when Travis and older brother Jason were at college in Cincinnati – shared some precious details on the proposal, telling News 5 Cleveland: ‘Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago.
‘He was going to put it off till this week. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event.
‘And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event … when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.
‘He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘let’s go out and have a glass of wine. They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great.’
Amid the celebrations, Kelce is gearing up for the start of the new NFL season which begins next week.
His Kansas City Chiefs team are heading to Brazil next Wednesday ahead of their season opener against divisional rivals Los Angeles Chargers in Sao Paulo on Friday, September 5.
It has meant, in part, that the couple aren’t yet planning details for the big day.

‘Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode ever since the engagement, the source added.
‘They are not in the wedding planning phase yet. Right now they just want to enjoy being engaged and they are going to take their time with it.’
The couple are yet to speak publicly on the news but they did make their first appearance as an engaged couple on Thursday.
Together, they attended a college football game between Kelce’s alma mater, Cincinnati Bearcats, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
It was there, nearly two years ago in September 2023, that Swift confirmed that she and Kelce were an item by taking a seat alongside Donna to watch the Chiefs play the Chicago Bears.
