Fourth Annual Evening with Andy Reid

The Fourth Annual Evening with Andy Reid event was another success with a sold-out crowd and strong representation by Special Olympics Missouri athletes from the Kansas City Metro area. This year, more than 370 individuals attended the festivities held at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame announcer, Mitch Holthus, was the emcee. Guests were treated to a personal message from Chiefs Defensive End George Karlaftis, SOMO CEO Larry Linthacum, the SOMO KC Metro team and Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid.

The highlight of the evening took place when SOMO athletes joined Coach Reid and Mitch on stage. The athletes had a unique opportunity to ask the three-time Super Bowl-winning Coach a variety of questions. Everyone, including Coach Reid, enjoyed the interaction.

More than $385,000 was raised to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Missouri.
