Baseball season is back, and the Kansas City Royals are opening their season against the Minnesota Twins. Usually, on Opening Day, a team will host someone famous to throw the first pitch. This time around, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is quite the celebrity in KC.

First, pitches by celebrities are known for being funny because they can be really good or bad. We have seen people hit cameramen, throw the ball straight in the air, and even throw it straight down to the ground. So, when it was announced not long ago that Reid would be throwing the first pitch, a lot of fans got excited to see how Big Red would do.

Reid, also holding a Lombardi Trophy, is walking up to the mound. When he gets to the mound, he hands Donovan his trophy, grabs a baseball, and throws his pitch.

I don’t know how many people anticipated his throw being as good as it was, but Reid threw an absolute strike, right down the middle. The Royals definitely picked the right guy for the job to put on a show for the Royals’ home crowd.
