The last time the Miami Dolphins won a playoff game was Dec. 30, 2000, when they defeated the Indianapolis Colts 23-17 in the 2000 AFC Wild Card game.
They lost the following week to Oakland, and haven’t tasted postseason victory since.
In fact, the Dolphins have made the postseason just five times since, including the last two seasons as a wild card team.
This year, many experts are picking them to come in either second or third in the AFC East.
The Buffalo Bills and even the New York Jets are being picked ahead of the Dolphins.
The Miami offense should once again be among the best in the league.
Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, D’Von Achane, Raheem Mostert and Tua Tagovailoa anchor an offense that also welcomes veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
The defense has plenty of veterans, including Bradley Chubb, Jalen Ramsey, Calais Campbell, Jevon Holland, Emmanuel Ogbah and the rising Jaelan Phillips.
Is it enough to overcome the Jets and Bills? Or is Miami headed for another disappointment?
