Rumors about Tyreek Hill have been around for a long time, but now the Dolphins have probably shut it down. Some fans even imagined him back in Kansas City. But Miami made their point clear, Tyreek Hill is staying with them.
The talks around this were going on for weeks. Hill’s chemistry with Tua Tagovailoa looked a bit difficult. Analysts picked apart the film.
Even ESPN’s Domonique Foxworth threw out the idea of a reunion with Patrick Mahomes, telling viewers, “The deep threat is going to predicate the strength of this offense. When you watch the All-22, the Chargers were sitting on routes. They were just letting Hollywood Brown run up on their chest before they’d even turn. Then he [Mahomes] was throwing deep balls that no one was getting open. He’s frustrated there, too. I think both teams need a little bit of a fresh start.”
That talk made sense, especially after Hill clashed with a reporter in a viral moment, adding to it.

So where do things actually stand? ESPN’s Adam Schefter clarified it. He said, “To date, the Dolphins haven’t received any calls from other teams interested in WR Tyreek Hill and they currently have no plans to trade him.”
That doesn’t mean Hill’s season feels drama-free. Off the field, he faces troubling allegations from his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro. Court filings detail eight separate incidents of alleged abuse. Hill’s lawyer called it a smear campaign. Hill himself told reporters he refuses to let the matter distract him.
“My focus right now is just playing ball, and spending time with my kids,” he said.
For Miami, the priority remains winning. Hill has delivered since his 2022 arrival, piling up over 4,500 yards and 26 touchdowns. That production makes him nearly untouchable. But as losses mount, the speculation will only heat up. Some insiders are already talking about two NFL teams that could make a big trade for Tyreek Hill.
Hill says he ignores all the trade talk. “All the noise, I feel like if you allow that kind of stuff to get in the way…it can only cloud what you’re really trying to get accomplished,” he said.
He’ll line up this weekend ready to chase another win. The Dolphins, for now, remain firm. Tyreek Hill is staying in Miami.
