It’s tough to know how to take the recent comments of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. He’s entering his fourth season with the Dolphins and has already had some explosive campaigns, breaking 1,700 yards in each of his first two years in Miami.
So, Hill saying that he never understood the offense can be taken two ways. On one hand, he put up those kinds of numbers and didn’t even know what he was doing? Imagine what happens when he does! Hill prefers an actual chalkboard as opposed to this newfangled white board shenanigans? It sounds like first-year receivers coach Robert Prince has a mandatory Trapper Keeper policy.
“Coach RP, he’s been great,” Hill said. “From the moment he has gotten here, he has been getting on me and (Jaylen) Waddle’s nerve since he’s got here. But I think it’s great though that accountability piece is something that we needed and then also pushing us every day.

Tyreek Hill just started taking notesHill kind of sounds like the young kid that goes off to college and drops out after three semesters because he still couldn’t decide on a major. Then, that kid goes into the real world for two years, decides on a career path and goes back to school with a renewed focus and an “I’m serious this time” attitude.

”I’m not sure ‘I finally decided to try’ is something to be applauded. No one is going to throw Hill a parade because he’s now bringing a pencil with him to position meetings. But, if he really put up those numbers in his first two years in Miami without knowing the offense, he would probably surpass 2,000 yards this year if his quarterback wasn’t concussed so much.
