Another night, another milestone to add to the ever-growing basketball resume of the one and only LeBron James.
The Los Angeles Laker superstar and future Basketball Hall of Famer put together another sterling performance in a thrilling 113-109 win over the visiting New York Knicks on Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena, as he nearly produced a triple-double, scoring 31 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out eight assists while going 11-for-23 from the field in 44 minutes.
In addition to that, James has finally surpassed former San Antonio Spurs superstar big man Tim Duncan for the third spot in the NBA’s all-time leaders in regular-season wins among players, the league announced via a post on X.
The 40-year-old James is now just 13 wins in the regular season away from moving past former Boston Celtics center Robert Parish for the No. 2 spot on the list.
If he plays for at least one more season, the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player could potentially break the record currently held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, whose scoring mark had already been shattered by James.

The 21-time NBA All-Star can add another win to his name as soon as Saturday when they kick off a four-game road trip against the reigning league champions, Boston Celtics, at TD Garden in Boston.
The Lakers extended their win streak to eight games and improved their record to 40-21 with the victory over the Knicks.
