Odell Beckham Jr. has moved on and it appears that the Baltimore Ravens will as well: per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Ravens are set to meet with Josh Reynolds, one of the most attractive aerial targets left on the free agent market.

Reynolds, 29, is coming off his most impactful season as a pro with the Detroit Lions, earning 608 yards and five scores on 40 receptions. He’d add 132 yards on eight grabs during Detroit’s trio of playoff games though he became somewhat infamous for a few crucial drops in the NFC title game loss to San Francisco.

Nonetheless, Reynolds’ big game experience (nine postseason games with Detroit and the Los Angeles Rams) should make him one of the most desireable veteran names when the second wave of free agency signings gets underway.

Beckham’s social media send-off hints that he has no interest in returning to Charm City, allowing both sides to see greener … or at least more purple … pastures. Lamar Jackson’s cabinet is still well-stocked as Nelson Agholor, Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers are all sticking around. Those slots on the depth chart don’t include tight end Mark Andrews, while new running back Derrick Henry obviously can’t be forgotten.

But the Ravens will no doubt seek depth that goes beyond Tylan Wallace, whose impact has been more apparent on special teams rather than offense. Having a veteran talent and a playoff staple like Reynolds would certainly provide Baltimore an x-factor of sorts as it seeks auxiliary pieces necessary to contend for a Super Bowl.
