The Miami Dolphins find themselves in need of a quarterback as Tua Tagovailoa faces another concussion, his third in two years. This latest health concern has sparked speculation about the young quarterback’s future, with some wondering if he’ll miss the rest of the season or even be forced into early retirement.

In the meantime, the Dolphins have signed Tyler Huntley from the Baltimore Ravens practice squad to back up current starter Skylar Thompson. However, some NFL fans believe the Dolphins should set their sights on a more experienced player: Colin Kaepernick.

Despite approaching his 37th birthday, Kaepernick’s name has been circulating as a potential solution for the Dolphins’ quarterback woes, as fans question whether Huntley and Thompson can lead the team to victory.

Despite speculation about potential replacements for injured quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Colin Kaepernick is unlikely to return to the NFL. Though Kaepernick desires to play, his time away from the league significantly hinders his chances.

In his last season (2016), Kaepernick started 12 games, throwing for 2,241 yards, 16 touchdowns, and four interceptions with a 90.7 passer rating. For comparison, Tagovailoa threw for 4,624 yards and 29 touchdowns last season alone.
