Since joining the Los Angeles Lakers after a shocking midseason trade, Luka Doncic has shown no signs of dwelling on the past. His performance against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday proved just that. With his dominant play and leadership, Doncic helped the Lakers secure a 108-102 victory over their in-city rival and improved to the second seed in the West.
Throughout the game, Doncic appeared to be in high spirits. He reminded fans of the fun-loving and mischievous personality he displayed during his time with the Dallas Mavericks.
During a break in play, Doncic playfully snuck into the Clippers’ huddle. The unexpected move frustrated James Harden, who quickly noticed Doncic’s presence and reacted with visible annoyance.
The Clippers’ gathering briefly disbanded due to the interruption. But the tension soon turned into laughter as Doncic and Harden exchanged words after the lighthearted moment.
Doncic finished with 29 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and five three-pointers. His all-around performance propelled the Lakers to their sixth straight win in his tenure.

The Los Angeles Lakers have long been one of the most scrutinized teams in the NBA, and Luka Doncic is beginning to understand why. After leading the Lakers to their second victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in three days, Doncic reflected on the added pressure and attention that comes with wearing the purple and gold.
Celtics Lab NBA Basketball PodcastReacting to Boston’s 114-102 Game 3 win vs. 76ers, Grant WIlliams durability and more with Luca SantosThe Boston Celtics came to Wells Fargo Arena with the sort of focus and energy needed to retake their momentum in the postseason against the Philadelphia 76ers on a night when their star center Joel Embiid was crowned the NBA’s 2023 Most Valuable Player. The Celtics took Game 3 of the series 114-102 thanks to Boston’s star wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown putting forth the effort on both ends of the court, but also with a team win after six Celtics scored in double figures. And Grant Williams may not have scored in his return to action against Philly, but his elite defense and drive to return to the court after Embiid scarily stepped on his head by mistake was truly a sight to behold. Are the Sixers’ stars out of gas due to Boston’s defensive pressure? Are there adjustments to be made? And are we looking at this series any differently now that the Celtics hold a 2-1 lead? To talk it over, the hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Lab” podcast sat down with co-host of the Spanish “Los Orgullosos Verdes” podcast on the Planeta NBA network Luca Santos, as well as what life is like covering the team on the other side of the pond. “Yeah, I think so. I didn’t believe it before, but they say if somebody is out a long time, they play against the Lakers. I didn’t believe that for a long time, but obviously it’s the Lakers,” Doncic said.
With each game, Doncic continues to show that his move to Los Angeles was the right decision. If Sunday’s performance is any sign, the Lakers have secured a new star to guide them in their pursuit of another championship.
