The NFL’s Kelce brothers are nothing if not entertaining, and the two did not disappoint while discussing an upcoming golf event.

As Jason is now retired and Travis recently re-upped with the Chiefs, both have a bit of free time before the real work begins, at least for the younger player.

The junior Kelce told New Heights he had one solid piece of advice for Jason before this week’s golf tournament in Tahoe.

Travis said he was playing in the American Century Golf tournament at Lake Tahoe with Jason, and then the elder Kelce acknowledged that it was his first time at the event and asked for any advice.

The Kansas City tight end responded, “My advice would be just don’t feel bad if you hit somebody because they bought the ticket.”

The now-retired Jason noted that he never feels bad if he hits somebody, perhaps a reflection on his stellar career that many believe will place him in Canton in the near future.

Travis observed that there would be a bunch of amateurs on the links, and they have certainly been struck by errant drives before.

Besides, EMTs at every hole are ready to render first aid to any player or spectator who needs assistance after being the unintended target of a hacker’s swing.

According to Travis, the altitude will come into play at Tahoe, and balls hit high in the air may travel as much as 10-15 yards further than at sea level.

The younger Kelce dryly noted that line drive shots should not be affected nearly as much by the thin air but that Jason likely does not have enough control over the ball to make that distinction.
